What You'll Do

  • Own and Grow Strategic Relationships: Cultivate deep partnerships with our largest and most high-potential enterprise customers. You’ll drive expansion opportunities, negotiate high-value contracts, and develop multi-year account strategies that unlock the power of GraphQL for these organizations.
  • Consult and Advise: Partner closely with technical and business stakeholders—often at the executive and C-suite levels—to understand their technology roadmap and align Apollo’s solutions to their strategic goals.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Support to shape innovative account-specific campaigns and programs, ensuring your customers continuously find success with Apollo’s offerings.
  • Lead Complex Sales Cycles: Orchestrate the entire sales process for strategic, long-term engagements. Create and execute account plans that align our product vision with customer needs, resulting in significant revenue growth.
  • Champion Apollo’s Vision: Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on the GraphQL ecosystem. Educate teams on how our technology can transform their approach to application development, user experience, and business outcomes.

About You

  • Strategic Sales Expertise: You have a proven track record of closing complex, high-value enterprise SaaS deals and consistently meeting or exceeding quotas, especially in early-stage tech or rapidly growing markets.
  • Executive Relationship Builder: You excel at forging lasting relationships with senior leaders in engineering, IT, and business roles. You’re adept at guiding organizations through change, acting as a strategic partner and trusted advisor.
  • Technically Curious: You’re keen on learning new technologies and can credibly discuss technical concepts with engineers, product managers, and C-level executives alike.
  • Organized & Data-Driven: You understand the importance of accurate forecasting and pipeline management, comfortably using tools like Salesforce as a single source of truth.
  • Flexible & Adaptable: You thrive in fast-paced, changing startup environments. You pivot quickly when necessary and leverage learnings to drive improvements in your strategy.
  • Collaborative Team Player: You value shared knowledge, mentorship, and open communication. You’re excited to partner with cross-functional teams to launch successful programs and customer engagements.

Location: This is a remote position that can be done from anywhere in the Mountain or Pacific time zone in the US.

Salary range

$320,000.00 - $360,000.00 USD per-year-salary

In addition to the U.S. base salary range, we also provide variable compensation, equity, and benefits. Apollo offers all U.S. employees a choice of 3 Anthem Blue Cross medical plans.
